Description
The character and subtle quality of this floral, sweet tea have earned it the name "the mocha of teas" or "surgeon's tea" as it awakens without overstimulating. This organic tea has a honeyed scent and is ideal in the morning. Grand Yunnan Impérial is the most popular single-origin tea at Palais des Thés. It has converted many coffee drinkers and is an excellent substitute for coffee at the start of the day. This tea pairs perfectly with red meat: its notes melt with the toasted fragrances of roasted or grilled meat. The mellifluous notes of Grand Yunnan Impérial blend perfectly with the intensity of dark chocolate creating a chord full of character.
