Description
The Usagi Washi Box. Crafted with Japanese expertise, our Washi tins are hand-covered with traditional mulberry paper. The rabbit, or "Usagi" in Japanese, symbolizes luck and renewal. Depicted here amidst tall grasses and cherry blossoms, it celebrates the arrival of spring and sunny days. A precious gift for yourself or others. In the Land of the Rising Sun, "wa" means Japanese and "shi" means paper; "Washi" therefore literally means "Japanese paper." However, "wa" also signifies harmony and peace: Washi is the paper of harmony. Choosing a Washi tin honors both the tea and its recipient. It is a true showcase adorned with symbolic patterns, making it a remarkable and lasting gift, essential for the proper storage of all teas. Two Washi tin sizes. Our washi boxes are equipped with a double lid to ensure the perfect preservation of teas and infusions. They are available in 2 sizes: approx. 100g and 150g. Dimensions: 100g = 12.4 x 6.5 cm. 150g = 15.3 x 7.5 cm.
